Housekeeping & Sample Preparation

Housekeeping Basics:

1. Clean glassware immediately after use and return it to the cabinet.

2. Label all non-original containers with:

   Chemical name
   Your name

Non-hazardous materials:
May be prepared at the bench with:

• a bench protective mat must be used
• the activity card with your contact information must be placed near your work space

⚠ Hazardous materials:
Must be handled in a fume hood, glovebox, or glove bag.
