All incidents requiring 911 call must be reported to the Laboratory Manager.

  • From any Argonne phone: Dial 911
  • From a cell phone or off-site: Call 630-252-1911

Laboratory Locations (for emergency reporting)

  • Sector 11 Laboratory: Building 433, Room D030
  • Sector 9 Laboratory: Building 433, Room A020
  • Sector 27 Laboratory: Building 437, Room A020

Fire Safety

  • Evacuate immediately via the nearest exit.
  • Do NOT attempt to use fire extinguishers unless you have received proper training.
  • If you hear a fire alarm in the laboratory, proceed to the nearest emergency exit, and calmly make your way to the designated assembly area.

Take shelter in designated areas such as:

  • Restrooms
  • The Machine Shops
